About Filmmakers Rights Achievers of Kenya (FRAK)

(FRAK) is a Collective Management Organization (CMO) established under the Copyright Act, Cap 130 of the Laws of Kenya.

We represent film creators, producers, and Audiovisual producers by managing their copyrights, collecting royalties, and safeguarding their economic rights.

FRAK ensures that every Filmmaker and Audiovisual producers in Kenya earns fair compensation when their works are broadcasted, streamed, or used in public. Through transparency, advocacy, and collaboration with key regulators like KECOBO and KFCB, FRAK is driving the growth and professionalization of Kenya’s film industry.

Role: Consultative Director in charge of Administration and key advisor ensuring welfare and inclusivity within FRAK
Focus: Member welfare and community engagement.

EVANS KARANJA

Role: Founding and Consultative Director and strategic overseer guiding FRAK's long-term vision
Focus: Rights holding management, partnerships and creative development
